| We use cameras which cover VGA to UXGA resolution and incorporates a 1/1.8 ″ progressive scan Bayer mosaic colour progressive scan sensor. The sensor has an array of 1624 (h) x 1236 (v) 4.4 µm square pixels. With this powerful camera system we provide for the first time in the industry a microscopic system which is capable of transferring high resolution moving images of 2.11 – million pixels with 25 frames / second in continuous operation. For the first time in
industry we provide a GiGE Vision™ interface with 10 or 8-bit output. The camera has build in RGB filters which allow the acquisition of high quality images.

All of our camera systems use the new and fast GiGE Vision™ interface standard. GiGE Vision™ is the first standard to allow for fast image transfer using low cost standard cables over very long lengths. With GiGE Vision™ hardware and software from different vendors can interoperate seamlessly over GiGE connections. GiGE Vision™ allows large uncompressed images to be transferred quickly in real time up to 100 meters in length. Standard gigabit Ethernet hardware allows single/multiple (via multiplexing) digital microscope camera connection to the system with low cost cables (CAT5e or CAT6) and standard connectors. As 10GiGE becomes mainstream, GiGE Vision™ will be the fastest connection in the industry. Standard hardware and cables allow easy, low cost integration. |
